Time

is a scary concept.
Dates just make me remember more, take a minute to reflect on something that happened exactly a week, month, or year earlier. They pile up and then I find myself missing too many things at once.

It's hard to dwell on the past, and strange to wonder about the future, but being stuck in the present seems to be the hardest place to be lately. I feel things can be fixed over TIME, but for now, all there is to do is sit back and watch me screw up everything around me.

ET, phone home

This has been an interesting week to say the least. I've discovered a lot about myself and between 4 straight hours of putting my mind to the test and many stimulating conversations, I'd say I put my mind in overdrive.

I won't elaborate too much here, but I can state some of my important learned lessons:

1. No need to think things through if your gut feeling says it's all right.

2. Time makes beauty, therefore, time is beauty.

3. Karma's a bitch just as much as santa clause is. Think about it.

4. When something doesn't feel right, THINK LOGICALLY.

5. Never ignore a unicorn.

6. Your mind has NO limit. Therefore, your dreams have no limit. DO WHAT YOU WANT

7. Test runs are good. So are saturdays.

8. No matter what changes, the destination remains constant.

9. DANCE, everything is going to be all right. And black history month is for looking back at the history, of time.

Fun fact: Swap shop backwards is pohs paws.

That's all for now.
Tons of pictures to come.

Excellence

This past week was excellent, to say the least.

Tuesday bright and early (actually, dark and early) my CTV family and I headed west for the competition of our lives.

We roamed around and explored for a bit and prepared for the Sweet 16 competition. Taylor and I did our segment at a marijuana dispensary which was quite an experience. The people were great and their smoothies greater ;)

So it turns out we can produce an incredible show.. first place worthy.. in 16 hours and 4 minutes. Too bad it's called sweet 16 for a reason. So of course, everyone flipped a shit when we got disqualified.

Despite the madness that night, everyone had a great time. Balloon animals/swords, a sketchy exchange with jesus at mcdonalds, entertainment in legos, millions of pictures, and trillions of Chardo euphemisms along with incredible company made it a great trip.

To make up for the sweet 16, we were all COMPLETELY caught off guard when we won the excellence award; the most prestigious award of the convention. That named us the best high school weekly news show of the nation. Fuck yeah! And I won 2nd place in the nation for script writing!!!
So, it was quite a learning experience and it got my hopes high for the future: My possible writing/broadcasting future, and the plausible legalization of medicinal marijuana in Florida in the next two years.
Do I even need to repeat myself? EXCELLENT.

This and That

“Never go to sleep without a request to your subconscious.” – Thomas Edison

Brain stuff is fun. Psyching myself out is better.

I have no complaints. Sunsets are wonderful, my dreams are insane, I heavily enjoy my company and I've yet to transform into a zombie.

This situation + more excitement - any care in the world + an improved list of things to do in Cooper City when bored= A good fuckin' few months ahead of me.

And Myles, if you ever read this...

BRAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSS!!!

Detached in the best way possible

Ahh, to be uninformed of everything going on in most people's personal lives.

No internet for a week makes for some productive days.

No parents at a friends house makes for some better ones.

Two of my best investments were made this weekend; the infamous water balls and my fish eye.

More pictures to come, believe it or not. For now I go back to no internet and a dragged out school week.
